Motion Design for Paid Social
Two motion-driven advertising pieces exploring how typography, imagery and brand identity can be translated into fast-paced social content.
The Project
This project brings together two selected paid social creatives developed for different brand identities.
The challenge was to create visually engaging short-form pieces while adapting the motion language, typography and composition to the visual system of each brand.
Same format. Different brands. Different motion language.
01 · Impress
For Impress, the motion language focuses on bold typography, structured compositions and quick visual changes designed to communicate the message immediately.
The piece combines branded layouts, imagery and animated type while maintaining a clean and recognisable visual identity.
Bold type used as an active visual element.
Structured layouts built around the existing brand identity.
Fast transitions adapted to short-form advertising.
02 · Zalando
For Zalando, the visual approach becomes more editorial and image-driven, using fashion imagery, oversized typography and changing layouts to create a more expressive rhythm.
Motion is used to connect photography, type and brand elements while keeping the piece fast and visually cohesive.
Fashion photography drives the composition.
Large-scale type creates hierarchy and visual impact.
Layout changes connect each visual beat without breaking brand consistency.
These pieces were an exercise in working within two very different visual identities while using motion to strengthen hierarchy, pacing and visual impact.
